Job Description
As the Central Utility Plant Maintenance Operator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
Performs repairs, maintenance, adjustments, modifications, inspections, and preventive maintenance on :
- Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Refrigeration systems
- Plumbing
- Pipe-fitting
- Electrical wiring systems
Serves as operator and repairman of the facility utility plant with shift responsibility on a regular and recurring basis
Maintains all utility systems and computers with controls, taking actions to shut down and bring up systems as necessary
Anticipates Power Plant equipment repair, maintenance, installation, and facilities maintenance requirements, including :
- Heating
- Ventilation
- Air conditioning
- Plumbing
- Pipe-fitting
- Welding
- Electrical wiring.
Basic Qualifications :
Must have expert knowledge about electrical and mechanical upgrades available on the market. Demonstrates independent modifications to existing and new equipment.
Conducts independent market research for proper equipment type, energy efficiency / security, and budget information required for final purchase of equipment.
Routinely provides independent solutions to time sensitive mission requirements.
Proficient / Expert on DOD and Military training and equipment requirements in a unique environment.
Desired Skill :
Certifications in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance.
