What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior .Net Engineer position at Buyerlink?
This is a full time in-person role at our office in American Fork, Utah. Must live in Utah and be able to commute to the office every day you work. Must be eligible to work in the US.
Key responsibilities: As a Senior .Net Engineer, you will be responsible for the full SDLC (software development lifecycle). You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications, as well as providing technical support and maintaining software throughout its lifecycle.
Day-to-day: Bug fixing, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features as business needs arise.
While you’ll get to spend your days with our Victoria team, you will work closely with our global Product Management and Marketing in a fast-paced, business-driven Agile environment.
Skills & Experience:
- In depth .NET development experience required
- Must have 4 years of experience with the following programming languages:
- C#
- ASP.NET
- MVC
- XML, XSLT
- Web Services
- MS SQL Server
- Experience building APIs with .Net
- Experience with Microsoft Azure platform is a plus
- Experience in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, and CSS is a plus
- Additional experience in the following areas:
- Ability to interpret Business requirements and translate into Software solutions.
- Multi-threading and parallel processing.
- Knowledge of best practices for cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility.
- Professional experience building enterprise database-driven applications and websites
- Strong self-learning skills, a flexibility to adapt, an appetite for risk: Buyerlink needs someone who can work within a team structure yet is open-minded and innovative.
- Self-starter who can work independently
- Ability to write clean, scalable code
- Team attitude: a willingness to roll up your sleeves, a service approach to leadership and a history of respect for all colleagues
