Position Overview:
The Front of House/Bar Manager is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the dining room and bar. This position focuses on delivering outstanding guest experiences, managing and motivating staff, and maintaining operational excellence in alignment with our company’s standards and values.
FOH/Bar Manager Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the front-of-house (FOH) and bar areas to ensure exceptional service.
- Train, supervise, and schedule FOH and bar staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage inventory for bar supplies, beverages, and FOH equipment, including ordering and vendor relations.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement service protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and senior management to coordinate seamless service.
- Monitor financial performance, including bar sales, labor costs, and waste reduction.
Lead by example in providing top-notch customer service and hospitality.
FOH/Bar Manager Qualifications:
Previous experience in a FOH or bar management role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of beverage programs, mixology, and bar operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and scheduling software.
