BEHAVIOR INTERVENTIONIST

EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building supervision
  • Member of building Behavior Intervention Team
  • Member of the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Team
  • Assist with school-wide PBIS
  • Organize data in relation to student behavior
  • Communicate as requested with students, staff, and parents
  • Proactively work with students on goal setting
  • De-escalate and process with students
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Maintain and participate in professional development

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Training and experience in behavior modification/management with preschool aged students
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for the purpose of improving school climate
  • Familiar with, or willing to learn technology and student information platforms
  • Ability to complete work prior to deadlines despite interruptions
  • Maintains consistent, punctual, and regular attendance

Pay: $30,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
