As a General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a Powersports retail business, ensuring that sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement goals are met. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, optimize inventory, and maintain operational excellence. You will report to the Vice President of Retail and work closely with a full marketing team dedicated to helping the success of retail promotions. 

Essential Duties:

• Plan, direct, and monitor the performance of the Powesports Store, ensuring that they meet or exceed sales, margin, and customer service targets
• Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust plans accordingly
• Develop and execute marketing and merchandising initiatives to drive traffic, increase conversion, and enhance brand awareness
• Manage inventory levels, allocation, and replenishment, ensuring optimal product availability and assortment across the stores
• Ensure that the stores comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence
• Manage the annual budget and forecast for the Powersports business, and monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics
• Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with the regional team
• Represent the company in the local community and industry events, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of retail management experience. Powersports would be a plus but not required
• Proven track record of achieving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals in a competitive retail environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others
• Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and drive results
• Customer-centric, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and market trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS, and inventory management systems
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
