Job Description:
The C & L Distributing Non-Alcoholic (NA) Sales Representative is the energetic and relationship-driven frontline representative to our customers.
Requirements:
- Promote a positive image of our company and our products. Provide consultation and advice. Listen to, investigate and resolve complaints on a timely basis.
- Think creatively to develop customer-oriented objectives and strategies. Confer with company managers to develop procedures to increase sales, expand markets and promote business. Create and present effective business review presentations.
- Analyze sales history, activities and trends to make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels.
- Improve market share, distribution, account relationships, product shelf position and case sales per account. Know product price points. Monitor Key Performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that goals are met.
- Introduce and sell new brands and packages, including use of promotions.
- Assist office staff with new account set-ups – obtain the necessary documentation.
- Use creativity with merchandising and displays.
- Establish and monitor quality control standards (product freshness, damaged product).
- Occasionally plan and participate in evening and weekend promotions.
- Adhere to all distribution agreements.
- Complete respective documentation including account objective tracking, tracking forms, surveys and banner orders.
- Demonstrate a "Team Spirit."
- Communicate with all departments as necessary.
- Communicate with account and driver on new placements, including cold and warm space.
- Attend staff meetings and complete training per company guidelines.
- Understand warehouse procedures.
- Report all vehicle operation violations/accidents to supervisor immediately. Clean company vehicle as needed (minimum once per week).
- Maintain appropriate dress and personal appearance within company guidelines.
- Knowledge of product rotation.
- Ability to learn and utilize sales software, and also be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must complete sales certification through AB within a requested timeframe.
- Ability to occasionally lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Possess a driver’s license with a clean driving record per company standards.
