OVERVIEW
C Speed has established itself as a prominent radar OEM and radar upgrade supplier for defense and civilian customers worldwide. C Speed develops high-quality, custom engineered hardware and software for commercial and government applications. C Speed is seeking experienced Radar/ISR Field Service Representatives (FSR) to support a US Government customer providing OCONUS Operations and Sustainment (O&S) support for C Speed’s Aerostat radar line of products.
POSITION SUMMARY
• Responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of aerostat hosted radars located OCONUS.
• Directs and performs corrective and preventive maintenance on radar and electronic subsystems.
• Assists conducting root cause analyses for ISR/radar and subsystem issues and events.
• Trains and certifies other personnel in selected radar systems for operations and sustainment.
• Performs Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), Site Acceptance Procedures (SAT), Field Directives, Field Modification Procedures (FMP), and Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Procedures.
• Documents radar system configuration issues.
• Coordinates resupply and repair logistics activities for the radar electrical and mechanical system.
• Troubleshoots various systems including the radar, ground control station, communication, and GPS/INS systems.
• Provides failure analysis and recommends design changes to reduce risk and increase radar system reliability.
• Coordinates reach back support with C Speed development and sustainment engineers and logistics.
• Generates and performs troubleshooting activities for radar and associated subsystems to include using complex electronic test equipment and tools.
• Deployment Requirements: Candidate must be willing to work and live on US military bases and at remote site locations with sparse accommodation. Overseas locations will be near areas of potential conflicts/hostilities. Candidate must meet all physical, medical, and other requirements for overseas deployment by current DOD regulations.
• Must be willing to deploy.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Required
• Experience troubleshooting and solving problems with Radar, electronic and mechanical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking and network infrastructure.
• Perform site installations and assists in government acceptance testing of the radar systems.
• Must obtain a passport within the first 60 days of employment.
• Must be capable of passing a deployable physical examination (including ability to lift 35 pounds) for deployments to a combat or hazardous duty location.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Desired
• Prior military experience E-5 or above.
• Basic understanding of electrical and digital designs as it relates to radar and ISR systems.
• Mechanical maintenance experience.
• Good computer skills, Microsoft office products.
• Experience with US Army supply system.
• Prior international assignment experience.
• Prior experience with ISR operations and sustainment on aerostat platforms.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus formal technical training (via military or civilian technical schools such as A&P Certification).
• 15 Years of technical experience.
CLEARANCE LEVEL
• Must be a US Citizen
• Able to obtain Secret Security Clearance
• Active Secret Clearance or CV date within 5 years is desirable.
