Veterinarian

Cache Meadow Veterinary Clinic
Logan, UT Full Time
POSTED ON 12/12/2024 CLOSED ON 1/23/2025

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian position at Cache Meadow Veterinary Clinic?

About us

Cache Meadow Veterinary Clinic has been in business for over 50 years. We have onsite boarding for up to 30 dogs, a few cats, as well as amphibians, birds, rodents and reptiles. There is a separately owned and operated grooming business onsite. The veterinary clinic is owned equally by a partnership formed by Drs. Kemp and Reeves who have been practicing veterinary medicine since 2005 (Colorado State) and 2009 (Western University of Health Sciences) respectively. Exams, bloodwork, analysis, surgery, radiography, infrared therapy and more are how we spend our time. We have 28 employees and find joy in doing our best to serve each other and our clients in professional and positive ways. Life requires a certain amount of flexibility. Without it, people can break or breakdown and our goal is to be a place where the lack of compassion ends and caring begins. We strive to be flexible for our employees - especially when "LIFE" brings unexpected surprises that may or may not be desirable yet difficult to accomodate without some flexibility from work. We also work hard to extend flexibility to our customers and patients where it is appropriate to do so. We like to have fun together - for example we are renting the entire local ice arena for our Christmas Party in December and having dinner catered for our team. We like to decorate the white boards with simple and fun artwork that everyone adds to as the week progresses. When the management team goes to lunch - the clinic buys the staff lunch as well. We like a workplace where everyone feels valued regardless of how long they have been employed or what they do. We are looking for 1 - 3 veterinarians who are interested in part-time or full time work either temporarily or for the long term. If you are not graduated yet and are interested in mentorship, externship / internship, or an educational experience, please email our manager, Aaron Taylor (cachemeadow@gmail.com) and let him know what you are seeking and your timeframe as well as your expected graduation date from veterinary school and he will see how we can help you. This is not a posting for hiring receptionists, veterinary technicians, nor veterinary assistants. This posting is for veterinarians or students becoming veterinarians. Best wishes and have a wonderful week!
