Carillon Assisted Living, a Raleigh-based company in the business of building and operating assisted living communities, is building and opening communities for its new brand, Calyx Living. As we grow, we are growing the team, seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to work fully in-office at our corporate office in Raleigh, NC.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements; ensure GAAP compliance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and track performance.
- Lead general ledger reconciliation and journal entry reviews.
- Develop and implement internal controls; assist with audits.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable; ensure accurate billing and collections.
- Manage debt draws and construction-related financial reporting.
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
Accounting Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred).
- 5 years of experience, with 1-2 years in management.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and experience in senior living or healthcare accounting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, PointClick Care, WelcomeHome).
- Experience working in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality accounting preferred.
