Job Description: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Saginaw, Mt. Pleasant, Alma, Alpena, Petoskey in Michigan State
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5H, 10H and 12 H
Approved Hours: 36/40 hours per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team Multiple locations in Michigan state (Saginaw, Mt. Pleasant, Alma, Alpena, Petoskey). This 13-week contract role requires a dynamic professional with expertise across various surgical specialties and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials promptly.
• Ensure the proper functioning and sterilization of surgical instruments, including Robot Xi.
• Handle specimens collected for laboratory analysis and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with infection control policies and surgical protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies within the required 20-minute response time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
• Proficiency in ortho, neuro, general, Robot Xi, urology, GYN, ENT, and endovascular/vascular surgical procedures.
• NBSTSA certified
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• COVID vaccination required.

License/Certification:

• NBSTSA certification (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Michigan: Relocate before starting work (Required)
