Job Description:
Cambay Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week temporary assignment starting on January 20, 2025. This position will focus on general ultrasound and breast imaging, and requires a high level of proficiency in sonography and GE Ultrasound equipment.
As a member of our ultrasound team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging, maintaining high-quality imaging standards, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience, demonstrated competence in general ultrasound and breast imaging, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound, specifically in general ultrasound and breast imaging.
- Certification: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
- Additional Certifications: BLS (AHA) required.
- GE Experience: Required
- Travel Experience: Highly preferred.
- Work History: Strong professional references (2 supervisory reference forms taken within the last 2 years).
- Location: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from Alpena, MI. Local candidates will not be considered.
- Other: Proficiency with computer skills and software programs for documentation and reporting.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional weekend shifts (4 hours on Saturday and Sunday, rotational).
