How you will contribute to our TEAM:
Project Management:
- Supervise and manage roofing projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and project close-out.
- Coordinate all roofing crews, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that work is completed according to schedule and within budget.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting work assignments and timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety standards.
- Investigate and report any job site accidents or incidents, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to prevent future occurrences.
Quality Control:
- Inspect ongoing and completed roofing work to ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and client expectations.
- Review project specifications, plans, and blueprints to ensure proper installation techniques and adherence to project requirements.
- Address any client concerns or issues with the roofing work, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Roofing Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in roofing construction.
- Extensive knowledge of various roofing systems and installation methods (e.g., asphalt shingles, metal roofing, EPDM, TPO, etc.).
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
