Camp Nor'wester is hiring a Grounds & Facilities Assistant in the San Juan Islands of Washington. Camp Nor'wester is a non-profit summer camp celebrating our 90th summer this year! Located on Johns Island we serve campers 9-16 for two four-week sessions on our unique rustic and remote island setting. The position offers a studio apartment in the nearby town of Friday Harbor.
The ideal candidate is a hardworking, motivated individual with a passion for the outdoors and has experience in vehicle/boat operation and maintenance, carpentry or construction, and landscaping. Working under our Caretaker, this position will care for buildings, grounds, and equipment on beautiful Johns Island and for oversight and support of our historic Argyle Staff house on San Juan Island.
