Canary Technologies is Hiring a Sales & Marketing Operations Manager Near San Francisco, CA

This opportunity will provide close interaction with senior leaders and founders. Our founders are alums of the Cornell Hotel School, Columbia University, and The University of Pennsylvania- Wharton. They have previously built software companies and have worked at firms such as Bain & Company and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

About the Role

The Sales Operations Lead will be highly cross-functional, working hand-in-hand with the VP of Sales as well as Business Development, Finance, and Marketing. This role will support seamless operations within the Canary Revenue organizations through executing day-to-day operations, optimization of current tools, systems implementation and overall process improvements by collaborating with Sales leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce.com, including implementation of Salesforce automation, Custom Fields, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder
  • Develop sales reporting and automation of key performance metrics to help drive revenue and optimize Canary's sales efficiency and effectiveness
  • Administer and maintain other sales tools including Gong and SalesLoft
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and sales end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements
  • Work with Finance to support our Closed-Won deal process, from signed contract to invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Help maintain and improve the quality of our data integrity
  • Deliver analyses, reports, and ad-hoc requests for Sales leadership
Qualifications
  • 3 years in sales operations at a fast-growing startup
  • Salesforce Administration required
  • Experience as an operator working with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in changing situations
  • Experience building processes from scratch
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strategic thinker, efficient & execution driven
  • Growth mindset: A desire to dive in and learn about new problems
  • Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets
  • 4-year degree required
  • Bonus: previous sales experience

$500 travel reimbursement: We get up to $500 if we want to make a trip to SF or NY for personal reasons. We will spend at least 3 days of that trip working at a wework with fellow Canaryites!
