Job Description:
As a Guest Service Agent at Candlewood Suites Mt. Pleasant, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable and positive experience for our guests. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon check-in/check-out.
- Assist with guest inquiries, provide information about the hotel and local area.
- Handle reservations, check-in/check-out processes, and payments accurately.
- Ensure guest rooms and common areas meet hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and promotions.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and assist with special requests.
- Perform administrative duties, including managing guest accounts and reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in customer service or hotel industry (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel management software (preferred).
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
