Duties
- Supervise front desk staff, providing training and support to ensure high standards of guest service.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering positive guest relations.
- Oversee the night audit process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for reservations and guest communication.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and poise.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is advantageous.
