What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mail Clerk position at CAPITAL AREA HEALTH NETWORK?
Responsibilities:
- Pick up mail from the post office box
- Sort and deliver incoming mail by department and/or staff to ensure timely distribution
- Pick up, sort, and deliver interoffice/departmental mail and other related items
- Operate office equipment to include copier/scanner, fax, and postage meters
- Deliver outgoing mail to the post office that is not picked up by the postal carrier
- Stock supplies needed for mail-related duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Experience:
- 1-2 years of equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of modern office equipment
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and auto insurability
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, Hours are flexible based on the center and organization's needs. Part-time hours.
Education:
- High School Diploma from an accredited institution
