Loan Officer I

Full-time, Contract to Hire, Career opportunity! Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm. The right candidate will offer a member-first attitude, and assist members with all aspects of any loan application from start to finish, including approvals and denials on all consumer, credit card and indirect loans. Initiative, creativity and follow through are paramount to being successful in this role! Duties will entail:

• Responsible for all underwriting of consumer lending products with approving authority
• Processing, approving/denials, closing loans and disbursing funds
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policy, procedure and all collections
• Marketing and increasing the Client loan portfolio
• Work closely with third-party vendors for commercial and real estate lending
• Ensure lending reports and remittance are completed accurately; timely completion of duties related to the record-keeping of loans
• Other tasks as needed

Requirements
Two good employment references; Mature work ethic; Comparable experience; HS Diploma/equivalent
