POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening community. Coordinates the assigned programs and events for the assigned member groups and/or program participants.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. BA/BS in Physical Ed., Recreation, Sports Mgt., or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
2. Prior experience coordinating programs and working with youth, teens and adults.
3. Current certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid.
4. Basic knowledge of computers.
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Publisher) preferred.
6. Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
Starting rate: $20.07/hr

Required- 1 - 3 years: Prior experience coordinating programs and working with youth, teens and adults.
Education
Preferred- Associates or better in Physical Education Teacher Education or related field
- Bachelors or better in Physical Education Teacher Education or related field
