Capital Nissan of Wilmington is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Used Car Technician to become a vital member of our automotive service team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in inspecting, diagnosing, and performing maintenance and repairs on pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to ensure the reliability and performance of used vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles to assess their overall condition.
- Identify and document any mechanical, electrical, or safety issues found during inspections.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues.
- Perform in-depth diagnostics on key vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other essential services.
- Complete quality control checks to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and operations.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in an automotive repair shop.
- Technical or vocational training in automotive technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician, particularly in used vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings.
