We are currently looking for a long term Electrical Foreman. This Foreman electrician will be the face of the company to customers and must possess excellent communication skills, excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude while representing CVE.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints.
- Assist in lay out of work for crew.
- Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule.
- Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials.
- Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as: Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules, etc.
- Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.
- Assist Superintendent in training, appraising work performance and addressing complaints of employees in the field.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of crewmen.
Qualifications
- Valid CA General Electrician License
- Valid CA Drivers License
- 3-5 years experience in Electrical Sub-contractor supervision
- 5-8 years of experience in Commercial Electrical Work
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.

Pay: $135,200.00 - $150,000.00 per year
