Position Overview
A skilled and motivated Microsoft ERP Developer and Analyst is needed to join our dynamic team. The role involves supporting and enhancing the existing Microsoft Navision system, as well as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central tenants. Additionally, the position includes significant responsibilities in EDI development, implementation, and support, along with assisting in the migration of the Microsoft Navision system to Business Central. Responsibilities
Support and Development within Microsoft Navision : Provide technical support and ongoing development for our current Microsoft Navision system, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and deliver solutions that improve system efficiency.
Support and Development within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central : Manage and support our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central tenants by performing system configuration, customization, and upgrades. Develop and deploy new features and functionalities to meet business requirements.
EDI Development, Implementation, and Support : Design, develop, and implement Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions to streamline our business processes. Provide ongoing support to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our EDI transactions.
Assist in Migration to Business Central : Play a key role in the migration project from Microsoft Navision to Business Central. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition, including data migration, system testing, and user training.
Requirements
Experience in Microsoft Navision and Business Central : Proven experience working with Microsoft Navision and Business Central ERP systems. Demonstrated ability to support, develop, and customize these platforms.
Experience in EDI Development and Implementation : Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing EDI solutions. Familiarity with EDI standards and protocols.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server : Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, querying, and optimization.
Skilled in C / AL and AL Programming : Proficiency in C / AL (C / SIDE) and AL programming languages used in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central development.
Manufacturing or Supply Chain Experience : Background in manufacturing or supply chain environments is a plus, with an understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
Lanham E-Ship Experience Preferred : Experience with Lanham E-Ship solution is highly desirable, providing expertise in shipping and logistics functionality within Business Central.
