Home Health Aide/Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with clients in their homes and have experience working with geriatric patients. This role is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Assist clients with mobility, including lifting when necessary.
• Support clients in their daily living activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with family members and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a home healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring clients when necessary.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• A valid caregiver certification or relevant training is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
