Position: Assembler
Location: Lindenwood, IL (20 mins from Rockford, IL)
Pay Range: $17.50
Shift: 1st Shift – Mon-Friday: 5am-3:00pm with overtime
Our customer has provided the best in snow and ice control equipment for municipal, government, and private markets. From truck bodies to dump bodies, V-box spreaders to tailgate spreaders, hydraulic systems, and liquid application systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for various types of assembly duties to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Proficient with various hand tools and power tools
- Conventional and precision measuring instruments
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation
- Assembly equipment maintenance
- Safety and Housekeeping
- ·Ability to lift to 50 pounds and ok with going on a 6 ft ladder
