GENERAL SUMMARY

The position involves conducting and supervising the delivery of ABA therapy services to individuals with autism. Responsibilities include completing assessments, designing treatment and behavior intervention plans, supervising behavior technicians, and conducting parent training sessions. Additional duties may include supervising other professionals such as BCaBAs, QBHPs, and students pursuing degrees in ABA.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completing assessments, treatment plans, and supervision sessions per established standards and timelines, ensuring no lapse in client care.
  • Building strong professional relationships with families and serving as the primary contact for clients, including providing regular parent training sessions.
  • Supervising behavior technicians through training, supervision sessions, and formal/informal feedback mechanisms.
  • Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing client data to make necessary modifications to treatment plans, as indicated by data trends.
  • Communicating with client support coordinators and case managers to review cases and progress.
  • Submitting complete and verified session notes and reports for billing according to established timelines, including meeting holiday and billing deadlines.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate 40-hour workweek schedule via an online calendar for safety and accountability.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality monitoring processes and adherence to BACB code standards in service delivery.
  • Meeting productivity expectations, including billable time and supervision of various team members.
  • Providing direct ABA therapy services when necessary due to scheduling or staffing issues.
  • Actively participating in staff meetings, clinical meetings, and other assigned committees, projects, or training sessions.
  • Demonstrating excellent customer service, leading by example, and maintaining professionalism with staff, peers, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Remaining solution-focused and calm in stressful situations while supporting team members with expertise and guidance.
  • Adhering to company policies and contributing to organizational initiatives.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCertifications, Registration, or Licensure:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (state-specific requirements).
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Active licensure as a behavior analyst (state-specific requirements).
  • Completion of a BACB-approved 8-hour supervision course.

Knowledge and Education:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with ASD and/or developmental disabilities in a clinic or center-based setting (required).
  • At least one year of experience as a behavior technician (preferred).

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to assist peers and technicians as needed.
  • Ability to manage stress, adapt to changing circumstances, and remain flexible.
  • Comfortable with providing discretionary effort and having courageous conversations.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work flexible, non-standard hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $93,230.00 per year
