Summary
As a Data Manager at Career Crusher Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing data to support our mission of delivering high-end solutions. This position is essential for driving innovation and efficiency within our projects.
Role Requirements: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences from an accredited college/university and five (5) or more years of professional experience as a Data Manager. A Bachelor’s degree is not required if the candidate has had seven (7) or more years of professional experience as a data manager. It is preferred that the candidate have experience working with the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA) of 2014 and the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Comptroller (OUSD[C]) Advanced Analytics (Advana) Tool. Must have measurable experience analyzing and evaluating data. It is preferred that the candidate have experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) polices and directives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of database systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Utilize analytics tools to analyze data trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with project teams to define data requirements and deliverables.
- Manage linked data initiatives to enhance data interoperability across projects.
- Lead efforts in utilizing software for data manipulation and analysis tasks.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies in project management practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members on best practices in data management.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to improve data processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in database design and management, preferably within a consulting environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on deriving insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in DATA act
- Familiarity with Informatica or similar ETL tools is a plus.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies is beneficial.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams or projects effectively.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
