Job Details : Requirements
- Excellent Customer service skills including proficient phone communication, ability to multitask and prioritize, computer skills, knowledge of intake team 1, insurance guidelines, knowledge of scheduling / coordination and front desk duties. (RT Department)
- Job Tasks :
- Attend to high volume phones calls
- Process supply orders via Brightree and Snap
- Process equipment check (oxygen, DME and PAP units), oxygen tanks, POC, swap out and oxygen maintenance orders
- Verify and interpret insurance benefits. Discuss / relay financial responsibilities with patients
- Request and log authorization both in Brightree and Snap
- Work and process all tasks assigned in folder I.e., referrals, emails, calls backs, voicemails and SNAP tool
- Request / pull additional documentation from referral EMR
- Maintain close communication with other departments
- Initiate medical records process when needed
- Assist and cover front desk
- Assist and cover scheduling
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor / manager
