Job Summary
This position monitors and improves the control system reliability of automated production equipment. When production system performance falls below acceptable levels, they must support troubleshooting efforts to avoid or minimize interruptions to production. A successful control technician has a keen eye for details and good mechanical aptitude.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Process and production equipment troubleshooting.
- Monitors significant plant downtime events and provide or coordinate assistance as necessary.
- Support implementation and improvement of existing preventive / predictive maintenance programs.
- Supports equipment installation coordination / supervision associated with department project assignments.
- Support locating replacement and upgrade hardware, as needed.
- Working in a team environment
Required Skills / Abilities / Knowledge :
