This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and tend to a roll forming machine to bend metal plates and sheets into specific shapes adhering to specific blueprints, templates. Operating any secondary equipment needed for the job.

Essential Job Functions

• Feeding material back and forth into machine.
• Adjust machine setting according to specifications.
• Start operation of rolling machines
• Conducting quality assurance checks to confirm meets specifications.
• Read rolling order, blueprints, and machine schedule to determine work sequence.
• Complete assignments based on production needs.
• Understand procedures and processes for department.
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize procedures.
• Follow company process standards, procedures and company policies in the shop including PPE use, proper part handling, and warehouse organization and cleanliness. .
• All other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience a plus.
• Knowledge of geometry
• Forklift experience
• Proven ability to safely operate shop equipment.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Ability and willingness to perform/comply with following:
• Willing and able to work outside in manufacturing/warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Willing to work alone a high percentage of the time.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, fumes, oils and where noise levels can be high.
• Ability to lift fifty pounds and handle physical workload.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
