Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change
Target Wages: Competitive wages based on experience
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation crews
- Oversee all aspects of installations – make sure equipment and materials are pulled, and assign the crew for each job
- Schedule all jobs for installation – maintain and update the installation schedule
- Visit each jobsite during and after the installation to confirm quality control
- Attend final inspections by the City when necessary
- Attend audit verifications when they are needed
- Keep updated on City procedures and rules
- Document and report all employee accidents and vehicle accidents
- A candidate should be a self-starter and a leader who is results oriented, trustworthy, and people oriented
Experience and Qualification Requirements:
- 5 years proven prior experience with HVAC installations
- Strong working knowledge in Heating and Air Conditioning or residential mechanical services to include design, fabrication, maintenance and installation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- New construction experience a plus
- EPA Certification a plus
- Adhere to company screenings
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver License
- EPA Certification a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting
- Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate
- Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools
- Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding, (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
