Plasma Table Operator
Reports To: Plant Manager
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full-time

The Plasma Table Operator is responsible for operating the plasma table to produce various parts and pieces that support our ongoing projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production schedules. Daily Duties:
- Operate and maintain the plasma table to cut metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to determine cutting requirements.
- Set up and calibrate the plasma table, ensuring proper settings for each project.
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure the accuracy and quality of the parts produced.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the plasma table and related equipment.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in other areas as needed, or while waiting for plasma table process completion.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Work overtime as required.
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a plasma table or similar machinery.
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for operating software and recording production data.
- Ability to read a tape measure, Caliper, and Protractor.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Good Communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems, make logical decisions and communicate ideas.

Environmental Conditions
- Work outside and exposed to weather.
- Wear protective or safety equipment, i.e. safety boots/shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, etc.
- May be exposed to high levels of noise, grease, dust, and a variety of substances that are typically associated with a construction site.
