We are seeking a dynamic outgoing Assistant Manager to run one of our newest locations in the Berkshires, Lenox. Do you have strong sales and sales coaching skills, excellent customer service, face-to-face and over the phone, and great organizational skills while being results-oriented?
Our Assistant Managers are responsible for supporting the store manager in the store's day-to-day operations, including maximizing sales, minimizing expenses, optimizing merchandising, and modeling outstanding customer service experience. They positively represent Carr Hardware consistent with company values. The assistant manager continues to reinforce the building of an efficient, motivated, productive sales team. Assistant managers should continually expand their knowledge of the retail industry and leadership.

Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to drive growth in the company through increasing sales and reducing expenses.
- Understand the fundamentals of leadership to build a strong team of motivated and productive retail associates.
- Expanded knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and pricing strategies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
