Essential Functions:
- Train staff and interns in the preparation of complex tax returns including: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S.
- Technical review of tax returns prepared by tax staff including: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S.
- Provide necessary support and resources to staff and interns so they achieve objectives.
- Monitor the quality of product and performance of tax staff and interns, providing reviews, feedback and reports to supervisors with recommendations.
- Manage and oversee monthly billing functions and monitor additions to work-in-progress, aging and write-downs.
- Facilitate and present in “in-house” Continuing Professional Education and training activities.
- Communicate and interface with clients to ensure the clients’ best interests are achieved.
- Maintain CPA Certification and adequate Continuing Professional Education units.
- Stay abreast of developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
- Master degree in Accounting or related field
- Must meet eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA Exam
- Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Senior Tax Associate role
- Must have experience and knowledge of current U.S. Tax Laws
