What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Analyst position at Carroll County Memorial Hospital?
The incumbent is to present for work in a timely manner, groomed professionally, and perform their job function in accordance with all Carroll County Memorial Hospital standards, policies and procedures. Serves as a role model and example of integrity in the position where assigned.
Charged with the goal of continuous quality improvement, s/he must provide leadership and supervision to the leadership team and staff members on how to improve patient outcomes while aligning with evidenced-based practices. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to direct the services appropriate for the patient/family population being served.
License/Certification requirements: Current nursing license in the state of Kentucky.
Hospital/Healthcare experience: JACHO/HFAP or DNV Compliance, program development, public speaking.
Minimum of two years experience in Quality preferred.
Data analysis and interpretation skills. Strong organizational and prioritization skills needed.
Dependable, self-directed and pleasant. Adaptable and flexible to meet patient/family and department/facility needs.
Proven organizational skills and process improvement skills are strongly preferred.
Management expertise: Must possess the ability to:
develop and implement training programs to meet the training needs of staff and the organization as it relates to Quality Metrics.
communicate effectively both orally and in written form with all levels of internal and external customers of the departments supervised
develop and implement policy and procedures consistent with Hospital, state and federal regulatory guidelines
Must have a general understanding of Excel.
