Responsibilities:

• More than just a technical expert, we view the primary job of the nursing leader as removing obstacles in order to provide excellent care to our patients.
• Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient
• Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
• 7pm - 7am Shift

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience with the knowledge of the clinical and regulatory aspects of delivering ER, and acute nursing service to an array of patients.
• License(s) and Certification(s) Required: Current RN License issued by the Kansas State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). Current ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required upon hire.
