Full-time Orthodontic Clinician

Carter Orthodontics is now hiring a full-time Orthodontic Clinician.

Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in an orthodontic practice or a minimum of 2 years in a dental office.

What You'll Do:

• Assist Dr. David Carter chairside during orthodontic procedures.
• Utilize a 3D scanner to capture precise digital impressions for treatment planning.
• Maintain a solid understanding of dental and medical terminology.
• Follow aseptic techniques for infection control to ensure a safe, sterile environment.
• Handle patient records with utmost confidentiality, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems.
• Assist with all orthodontic care.
• Manage your time effectively to keep our busy clinic running smoothly.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with both patients and colleagues.

What We Need:

• Required Experience: Must have a minimum 1 year in an orthodontic setting or 2 years in a dental office — this is non-negotiable, as we need someone who’s ready to hit the ground running!
• Location Flexibility: Ability to commute to all three Carter Orthodontics locations (Aiken, North Augusta, Augusta).
• Tech and Communication Skills: Comfortable with EMR systems and excellent communication skills.
• Attention to Detail and Time Management: Organized, efficient, and able to manage a fast-paced environment.
