What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call Security Guard position at Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies?
Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies is accepting application for an On Call Security Guard in Millbrook, NY.
Duties include periodic checks of all buildings to make sure property and buildings are secure. Confirm that heat and other mechanical systems are operating. Patrol Cary Institutes roadways during assigned hours; approach visitors as necessary to assure compliance with access policy. Complete written security report at the end of each shift
Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, hold a valid New York State Security License, valid driver’s license and have the ability to stand for long periods. The successful candidate will be conscientious and safety-minded.
This is an hourly, non-exempt, unbenefited position with a salary range of $18.00 per hour to $20.60 per hour. Start date will be approximately late December, 2024.
All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Position reports to Mr. Fred Merritt, Director of Physical Plant & Grounds.
