As the Director of Treasury, you will drive Caseware's global treasury strategy, ensuring optimal liquidity, risk management, and operational excellence in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment. This is a pivotal role that demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cash management, FX strategy, and financial controls.
You will lead the transformation of treasury operations, leveraging your expertise to enhance processes, build global financial infrastructure, and align treasury practices with our ambitious growth strategy. What You Will Be Doing
- Lead global cash management strategies, ensuring liquidity across 8 entities and multiple currencies while optimizing cash flow and mitigating risks.
- Oversee and improve treasury processes, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, providing insights into trends and ensuring robust liquidity planning on a rolling 12-month basis.
- Manage multi-currency cash positions and foreign exchange exposures, driving strategies to minimize financial volatility and costs.
- Collaborate with FP&A, finance, and cross-functional teams to align treasury activities with corporate financial goals and operational needs.
- Prepare and present comprehensive treasury reports, including cash flow analyses, FX impacts, and other key metrics, to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability in treasury operations.
- Drive strategic projects, including ERP integrations, process automation, and cross-functional initiatives to support Caseware's evolving global operations.
- Support external audits and lead treasury aspects of month-end close, including journal entries for FX revaluations, interest, and bank fees.
- Maintain effective relationships with financial institutions and manage banking permissions, access rights, and authority updates.
- At least 10 years of experience in treasury or financial leadership, with demonstrated success in global cash management, FX strategy, and process transformation.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA, CFA or CTP are strongly preferred.
- Deep technical expertise in treasury systems, ERP platforms (NetSuite is a strong asset), and automation tools, along with advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a proven ability to interpret and present complex financial data effectively.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and with senior stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to managing operations and implementing solutions.
- High integrity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity, and multi-currency environment.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude with a demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and scalability initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable strategies for senior leadership.
