Cassena Care is seeking adynamic, hardworking, highly motivated individual to join our team ofprofessionals as a Medicaid Coordinator in our financedepartment for multiple health care entities in the tri-state area . 

Medicaid Coordinator Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Financial Interview for theMedicaid application process
• Obtaining signed authorizationforms to facilitate obtaining financial documents pertaining to Medicaidapplications
• Filing Medicaidapplications/Conversions
• Follow up and correspondence withLocal DSS
• Filing fair hearing and attendingif necessary
• Enrollments in Mandatory MLTCplans
• Educating family about NAMIpayments
• Apply representative payee asnecessary
• Collecting private payments asnecessary
• Meeting with residents/families todiscuss their financial obligations
• Review and work with families onMedicaid applications
• Submit Medicaid applications
• Other duties as required

Medicaid Coordinator Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Nursing Homefinance / Medicaid office
• High comfort level to meet withresidents/families to discuss and advise on their financial obligations
• Must be computer literate, andproficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Should be extremely detailed andorganized
• Must have 2 years experience compiling andsubmitting Medicaid applications on behalf of Long Term Care Facility
