Join us today! **This is a 2nd Shift Position** Description: Material Handlers pick and kit materials, communicate / respond with material movement to and from both production areas and outside locations in a safe and expeditious manner and to accurately document material movement in support of our heavy machinery production teams. Other duties include: Responsible for putting safety first with a goal to prevent all injuries, occupational illnesses and safety incidents. Order and safely deliver all material to the appropriate locations ensuring right part at the right place at the right time in the right quantity and quality using various material handling equipment including counterbalance, reach truck, picker, tug and turret machines. Use handheld scanner and computer for material movement transactions to perform material handling tasks including stocking, picking parts and material auditing. Safely empty hoppers and dunnage. Take initiative to identify, document, communicate and correct problems related to material movement, report discrepancies and recommend solutions. Perform other material handling tasks and projects as required including running grief, dock loading and unloading, dunnage removal. Additional Information Shift: 2ndt Shift – 2:00AM-1:00PM CST Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Compensation: Grade 2, plus shift differential $1.25, with additional eligible compensation from Quarterly Gain Sharing bonus of up to 10%.
