Title: Senior Software Developer
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid work location Dallas / Remote - 3 days in office; 2 days remote)

How you will make an impact:
This is a software development role responsible for providing software development & support services to Catapult Health. The primary responsibility of this role is being a part of the architecture and development of software systems that fulfill the business objectives of Catapult Health. The secondary responsibilities of this role include owning, tracking and resolving software related incidents and requests, fulfilling requests and resolving incidents and working with the engineering team to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems.
Education, Experience and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- 8 years software development experience.
- 5 years’ experience in developing and maintaining Node.js software in Linux/Unix environments.
- 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience with technology and application development methodologies
- Experienced in developing systems and platforms that integrate disparate data and
What you need to be successful:
- Experience providing input to the architecture of software systems and implementation of the chosen architecture.
- Advanced level experience in developing applications JavaScript, Node.js, React and Redux.
- Advanced level Experience in developing RESTful services using Node.js.
- Experience in developing applications and services using databases such as Postgres, MySQL and MS SQL Server. Experience with MS SQL Server is preferred.
- Experience with object-oriented design, micro-services architecture, and federated architecture.
- Experience interfacing with 3rd party APIs, either utilizing REST Web Services (familiarity with JSON, XML, API routes, tokens, secrets, etc.)
- Experience in automating testing of applications and services using tools such as Jest and Selenium.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving functional issues, performance issues, security issues, etc.
- Experience in developing software that handles personal health information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations is a plus.
