Catawba Valley Staffing, Inc. is now accepting applications for Production Workers in the Swannanoa, N.C. area.
Job Duties
- Perform manual operations such as line feeder, filling, labeling, packing, capping, palletizing, sealing, and inspecting.
- Perform quality inspections during production and immediately report any non-standard issues to the Production Manager and Quality team members.
- Continually observe products and materials being used and reject any substandard products, materials or packages not in compliance with SOP’s and GMP’s.
- Maintain sanitary conditions in immediate work area and assist in ongoing and assigned clean-up.
- Assist with total line changeovers.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
- Setting up machines to start production cycle.
- Ability to control and adjust machine settings.
- Feeding raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
- Fix issues that may occur during the shift.
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
- Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
