Summary : Responsible for driving Agency vehicle as directed– transporting clients to and from scheduled appointments, transporting clients to and from scheduled shopping or social events, transporting staff to and from client visits and community events, other appointments as directed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Includes the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Adheres to Transportation Policy and Procedure.
- Observes all vehicle and traffic safety rules and regulations.
- Remains in close communications with office staff as designated.
- Ensures passengers follow transport and program rules.
- Communicates all concerns regarding clients to supervisor.
- Ensures vehicle cleaning and maintenance schedules are followed.
- Ensures timeliness of pick-ups / drop-offs.
- Checks transportation schedules daily and completes required documentation of trips.
- Maintains clean driving records and valid driver’s license.
- Completes all recordkeeping in an accurate and timely manner.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position, operating primarily during the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday through Friday with occasional earlier start times. Occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. Working Conditions and Physical Demands :
