Description
Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Full Time Middle School Mathematics Teacher to begin in the Fall 2024. The school is committed to partnering with parents and providing a traditional education in a faith-filled environment.
The school is centrally located in Richmond's Museum District, with an enrollment of over 200 students.
The Middle School Mathematics Teacher will partner with parents and teachers to foster and promote student learning and moral development through a classical Catholic curriculum.
The Middle School Mathematics Teacher will teach all Middle School Mathematics classes from Math 6 through Algebra I and provide support, as needed, to the Elementary Teachers.

Applicant Requirements
Applicant must
- hold a bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university, in mathematics, science, engineering or related area
- have a passion and commitment to classical education
- be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
- hold a Virginia Teacher Certification with an endorsement covering Algebra I or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
Applicants should
- training or background as a Mathematics Specialist is highly desired
