Responsibilities
- Develop and write compelling content for various platforms, including blogs, articles, marketing materials, and internal communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights related to EDI, logistics, transportation sales, and dispatching.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Edit and proofread written materials to maintain high standards of quality.
- Utilize knowledge of AS400 software and NVOCC operations to enhance content specificity.
- Support sales management initiatives by creating persuasive sales copy and promotional materials for inside sales teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform writing strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Writer or similar role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of EDI processes, logistics operations, transportation sales, and dispatching practices.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for writing and editing.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
