The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan to manage the center’s online presence across various social media platforms, including creating engaging content, assisting in monitoring comments, and analyzing data and metrics. The position will also work with vendors for placing digital ad campaigns. Additionally, the person assists with evaluating and providing success metrics of such media buys.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content calendar.
- Create high-quality written, visual, and video content that aligns with our brand voice and target audience.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging content.
- Lead and educate field team on local and corporate driven content.
- Community Management:
- Actively engage with our audience on social media platforms.
- Monitor brand mentions and respond promptly to comments and messages
- Build and foster a strong online community.
- Paid Social Media Advertising:
- Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns.
- Develop and execute targeted advertising strategies to reach specific demographics and drive conversions.
- Track and analyze campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot any issues and disapprovals.
- Social Media Analytics:
- Utilize social media analytics tools to track key metrics and measure campaign performance.
- Generate regular reports on campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Trend Analysis:
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits of our social media channels to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay on the forefront of new capabilities and innovations in the ad technology space, both with existing partners as well as evaluating potential new partners.
- Continually work to brainstorm, develop, and implement new and existing ad technology to elements of the business where it can increase in NOI.
- Other:
- In conjunction with vendors, be a resource for the department on the use of ad tech platforms such as Google Campaign Manager, Google Studio, Google Ads, and other DSPs on best practices for the technical set up and success of programmatic digital media campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Strong writing and communication skills - the ability to craft engaging and concise copy for social media posts.
- Knowledge of site tagging.
- Visual design skills – basic understanding of design to assist creative team with visually appealing content.
- Analytical skills – ability to interpret data and use insights and metrics to ensure future success and provide any pivots during campaigns.
- Overall knowledge of marketing and campaign development.
- Candidate should be organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media management platforms, such as Sprinklr.
