What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed School Counselor position at CDAC Behavioral Healthcare, Inc.?
CDAC is seeking a licensed clinician (LMHC or LCSW) to provide support to Santa Rosa County School District students, families, and staff at selected Pace and Milton schools. The counselor will serve as part of the district's Crisis Response and Threat Assessment Teams. The counselor will also provide Trauma-Informed Care and Resilience Training to students and staff at their assigned schools, assist with crisis intervention, provide referrals/community resource information to families, and provide trainings, including Youth Mental Health First Aid, to district staff.
The position requires a master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with counseling experience, preferably within a school-based setting. Applicant must be licensed (LMHC or LCSW). Applicant is not required to already be a YMHFA trainer.
This is a permanent full-time position with a 10-month schedule, which follows the school calendar. School holidays and breaks are observed, including summer break. The salary is $60,000 to $65,000 (DOE) annually, based on the 10-month schedule. You will not need to reapply each year to continue employment.
