Full-time 3rd Shift Receiving Supervisor needed in Troy, OH
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Receiving Supervisor to join our team. As a Receiving Supervisor, you will oversee the receiving operations in our distribution center. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and efficient receipt of goods, inventory control, and compliance with safety regulations.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the receiving team to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee the accurate and timely receipt of goods from suppliers
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy
- Verify quantities received against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper storage and organization of received goods
- Train and mentor receiving staff on proper procedures and safety protocols
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve any issues related to deliveries or supplier performance
- Implement and enforce OSHA guidelines for safe materials handling and equipment operation
- Monitor and optimize receiving processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
- Proven experience as a Receiving Supervisor or similar role in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organization
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is preferred
- Valid forklift certification

Salary $60,000 - $75,000 Plus Overtime
Hours: Sunday – Thursday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
