What you'll do:
- Participate in the resident's individual program plan and ensure the health services aspects of that plan.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the resident's treatment plan.
- Observe, record, and report findings to the appropriate person, and to perform routine nursing duties including but not limited to giving medications and treatments, taking vital signs, monitoring blood sugars, and urine testing.
- Assist with all aspect for resident's care, and training.
- Assist accompany residents to the doctor or hospital, as needed.
- Active communicating member of the Cedar Lake Lodge team.
- Administer basic first aid and/or CPR in an emergency situation.
- Write monthly nursing summary and assessment in the resident's care plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What sets you apart:
- Must be a graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
- Must have a current Kentucky license to practice nursing.
- Must have continuing education units up to date.
- Current CPR and first aid training certification.
- One year in the field of developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities preferred.
- Two years nursing experience in a long-term facility preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a record acceptable to Cedar Lake Lodge's insurance carrier.
- 3-12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week 7am-7pm, including 2 weekends within each 6-week period.
Salary : $26 - $37
