Summary:
This position is responsible for performing dry film and tin strip operations to effectively remove these materials, as well as etching operations to remove base copper while maintaining precise trace and space tolerances. All work must adhere to strict wastewater treatment regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong safety and chemical handling skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Essential Functions:
- Operate conveyorized chemical processing equipment.
- Accurately and efficiently follow established procedures.
- Visually inspect products and utilize stand microscopes for thorough quality checks.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Monitor and maintain all equipment components, including power supplies, pumps, heaters, chemicals, and water lines.
- Track bath parameters and notify lab personnel of any inconsistencies.
- Execute chemistry additions and bath changes according to established guidelines.
Experience:
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and manuals.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and visual acuity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
